| Artist's Statement This series of organic, visceral paintings explores issues involving expectations, hopes and dreams. These bittersweet works evoke sensual mysterious forms and textures. For me, they create a mood of wistful melancholy, nostalgic yearnings and contemplative perceptions of time that cut directly to the pulsating core of the human condition.
